This book is not one of Max Lucado's better books (see: Grace). This book contains way too much fluff and filler (as evidenced by the "3:16ed Life" found at the end of the book), with Scriptural references used to make the same point within the same chapter (and this occurred on multiple occasions). The topic of 3:16 while worth exploring and discussing is more of a doctoral dissertation than it is a 200+ page book. While I would not recommend this book, at the same time I would not dissuade readers from reading it for themselves and drawing their own conclusions about the book.
