Shaun of the Dead is a British romantic comedy about a zombie apocalypse directed by Edgar Wright, one of my personal favourite directors. Starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, it's a very entertaining movie. Shaun of the Dead is part of the cornetto trilogy, with the other two movies being Hot Fuzz and The World’s End. In my opinion, Shaun of the Dead is the best one in the trilogy. The film is about Shaun and his friends surviving the zombie apocalypse, with a few twists and turns along the way. If you’re looking for a silly yet pretty violent film, this one's for you. This movie would definitely be one of my absolute favourites. I definitely recommend this film to anyone interested in these types of movies, and give it a 5/5. @Gummibee11 of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library Shaun is a fairly boring man, who works a boring job, lives with his boring friend, and only ever wants to hangout at the pub. The only thing trying to force him to evolve and grow up is his girlfriend Liz. After his town is suddenly ravaged by zombies, it is time for Shaun to rise to the occasion and rescue his girlfriend (as well as his mother). This film was directed by Edgar Wright, and as a result had phenomenal shots and many scenes with exquisite attention to detail. The writing was tired at times, however, it was a very well produced film and had a very comedic take on normally horrific films. @The_Reviewer of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
