A run, dumb film that isn't historically accurate, but is a fun adventure into war. I'm no Roosevelt expert, so I have no idea if the portrayal is accurate or not, but does seem to be a tad on the cartoony side. The action and battle scenes are well acted and portrayed, and feel like they are real. The characters don't represent their real life counterparts very well, and the attempts at character building feel a bit forced and out of place. But on the flip side, if you like the Krag rifle, you will not be disappointed; there is so much "Krag Action" that it boggles the mind to see that many rifles in one place.

This movie was entertaining but not one of my favorite for this year. “Not too bad---good performance”. It was O.K for a home TV movie.

I could only wawtch the first half hour. The actor playing Teddy was over the top. Hard to beleive the real guy was such a blowhard. I hope not....
