The sudden and surprising assassination of three American officials inColombia. Many people in many places, moving off on missions they all mistakenly thought theyunderstood. The future was too fearful for contemplation, and beyond the expected finish lineswere things that, once decided, were better left unseen. Tom Clancy's new thriller is based on America's war on drugs . . . and the covert --and shocking -- U. S. response.

Great book. John Clark - my favorite character in this series - is in this quite a bit. Lots of action; not the typical spy book of the Ryan series. I only say that this book is for 16 plus due to the complex plot.

Good book, well written, even if a bit of heavy reading and a plot that is hard to follow at times
