During the German occupation 20 French children were in a mountain refuge and taken care of by a wise nun . One day they are asked if they would hide 10 Jewish children from certain death by the Nazi's . They do take in the refugee children and this is the true story of just how they accomplished this . Told from the children's viewpoint and is a short , but heartwarming and touching story of surviving , friendship and love of others . Would recommend this book .
