Put on your disco dancing shoes and get down and boogie with the Bee Gees.

At the very height of disco-mania during the mid-1970's - The motion picture sensation "Saturday Night Fever" ("SNF", for short) hit the movie theatres in 1977.

And, suddenly - All across the North American landscape everyone donned their "boogie-oogie-woogie-doogie" dancin' shoes - And, the rest. of course, is yet another phenomenal chapter in the ever-revolving door of pop culture history.

This "SNF" soundtrack CD contains 17 tunes in all.

Not only does this disc feature 6 songs written/performed by the Bee Gees - But there are also songs here from various other recording artists, such as - Kool and the Gang, and K.C. and the Sunshine Band.

Winning a Grammy award for "Best Album of the Year" - This movie soundtrack initially remained on the top of the record charts for 24 solid weeks and it eventually went on to sell over 16 million copies in North America alone.

Two of my fave tracks are - "A Fifth of Beethoven" (performed by Walter Murphy/Big Apple Band), and "Stayin' Alive" (performed by the Bee Gees).
