Back HomeDVD - 2001
As the Second World War ended, evacuees throughout Britain returned to their homes, trying to recreate their lives. Peggy is one such person, her life changed by living and working through the war with friends. Her daughter, living as an evacuee in the U.S. for the past five years, finds England unrecongnizable. Her husband returns from the war, damaged and desparate to make everything as it was before. Together, they struggle to make sense of their new lives.
