We can't all live in the Hamptons or spend New Year's in Paris like Ina, but we can impress our dinner guests with her recipes. I've tried the winter slaw, the garlic and herb roasted shrimp, and the chicken pot pies - all are delicious. I also made the herbed pork tenderloins for my mother, who is an excellent cook in her own right, and she told me it was the best pork dish she had ever eaten. Enjoy!

Another gem from Ina. Love that I can rely on her recipes to be truly tested and are accurate. Her simplistic approach is always welcomed in my kitchen. Great ideas for prepping ahead with the goal of actually being able to relax with your guests and join in on the fun,

Yummy cornbread a hit at Christmas brunch!
There are always great notes and tips with all her recipes.

I tried the choco cake w. moose icing and it was perfect. The book had many tips and great recipes. I will buy this

This is another gorgeous cookbook, lavishly illustrated, by the Food Network star. Garten's "common sense" approach to food always leaves the reader feeling that he or she can cook as well. Each recipe has "make it ahead" advice for easy entertaining.

Smorgasbook cook book club loved this title. Our March selection was a hit for all of our members. She had us with her opening recipe for dog biscuits. The layout is bright, sunny and very homey. The design is beautiful with tons of full page pictures, tips and stories. The recipes are easy to follow and most use ingredients you can find in your pantry. The recipes taste great and look like the styled photographs. There are tons of veg options. This is a great cookbook for the cook or the cookbook reader.
