It was pretty good, but hard to follow at times. The story really jumps forward unexpectedly, leaving me to figure out how the flow and some characters changed drastically. But I'm gonna stick out and see how it all develops in the…

I've read all 3 books of this series as well as both seasons of the show! I love this series so much but the books themselves are a bit weak. the members of the umbrella academy and their backstories aren't delved into all that much, ben…

I love the Umbrella Academy show, and I absolutely adore Gerard Way. I love his creativity, the way everything he touches is unique and interesting. I’d say this graphic novel is similar: it is wildly vivid, very creative, and if I hadn’t…

The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite is the first graphic novel of three. I watched The Umbrella Academy (a TV series on Netflix) and loved it. I got the graphic novel to see if it was as good as the show I was impressed. The…

After watching the first two seasons of Umbrella Academy on Netflix, I signed out the graphic novels to get a jump on the 3rd season. I'd describe the novels as somewhat disjointed and a bit more "bizarro" stylistically but the basic plot…

I was impressed by the depth of the plot. The characters are well-developed and fascinating, and the artwork from Gabriel Ba does not disappoint. Looking forward to the continuation of this story!

This is very different than the Netflix show. Which isn't a bad thing! But the story was a bit difficult to follow in places, I wish there was more background and context for the characters. Still an enjoyable read!

One of the rare times where I liked the show better than the book (because Netflix had more time to flesh out the characters and story).

I am not an avid Graphic Novel reader but I read this because I love Gerard Way and I figured I want to explore this genre. It was actually not easy to find; I could not find it in any of the stores I tried, so I'm glad I finally got my…

Apocalypse Suite is a time travel, get the team back together to fight something that’s gone horribly wrong, high adventure style comic that I enjoyed immensely. It was Gerard Way’s first time writing a comic and it doesn’t really…

I had the series mailed to me as a kid. It's such an amazing, complex story that I couldn't help but find a bit of myself in the characters this comic centers around.
