Lots of twists and turns, drawn out by repeated summations.

Best of the first 3. A story of betrayal, though not on par with "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy".

A good police/ spy read but a bit pedantic at times. Some of the clues lacked subtly but still a fun fast read.

From reading this book I would say that Baldacci read a lot of Michael Connelly's books on Harry Bosch. I found similarities between Amos Decker and Harry Bosch. That both characters go by their own tunes and because of this they are…

An exciting beginning and ending, but in between, I think the author was too interested in, increasing the novel's word count.

Baldacci is an inconsistent writer. Some books are great and others are poor. This was poor... a slow and boring pace with too much "filler".

Usually like all Baldacci writes but this one was not as good as his usual. Hung in and read it all wasn't one of my favorites

I love David Baldacci books although this wasn't one of his best. It was a little drawn out but it still had some good twists and turns that kept you reading to the end.

Read pages 1-10 then skip to 20 pages till the end. Nothing happens in between. Very long book.

Decker is an unlikeable idiot savant as portrayed in this book. The plot is a bit convoluted and contrived and the likable characters are given little to do but be amazed at Decker and his lack of social skills. The ineptitude of all…

The Fix is the third in David Baldacci's "Amos Decker" series. While I would not say this is Decker at his best, I would have to agree that Baldacci has spun a fine tale. The novel starts with two deaths - a murder and a suicide and…

A good story...especially for those familiar with DC landmarks. A bit drawn out...but a good surprise at the end. Skip a few chapters and go there.

A seemingly good plot, made less interesting by the author's frequent summation of what happened, his frequent referral to Amos's unfortunate past experiences, his use of inappropriate slang and banal dialogue, and his many explorations of…

As a great fan of Baldacci, I felt let down by this book. Too drawn out with details and filler.

Lots of plot twists and turns. Amos Decker is an unlikely hero of this series. He brings a dimension of human frailty and sharp analysis to the FBI cases he traces. A fun read.

Amos Decker No 2. What a page turner.Easy to read. Short chapters.A mini series for the small screen would be in order. NCIS, Criminal Minds etc on steroids.Move aside for The Fixer with 'special powers, but please, Mr Baldacci, don't sell…

I was disappointed in the book. I really liked The Memory Man, and I hoped the books that followed would develop his character more fully. But, I still know practically nothing about him. I didn't like the story line either. Baldacci…

Amos Decker is not one of my favorite characters. I did not like this book-not the usual Baldacci I have come to expect. I gave it one and a half because I did finish the book.

The memory man is one of the best books I have ever read. This is one of the worst. This author is very eratic.

Even though there were many intricate plot turns and questions raised during the investigation of two deaths out side the FBI building I enjoyed this newest addition to the Amos Decker story. It interesting to see the slight changes in…
